WHAT IS BOTULINUM TOXIN?

Anti-Wrinkle Injections commonly known as Botox is a drug made from a neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum called botulinum toxin. It is used medically to treat certain muscular conditions and cosmetically to remove wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing muscles.

Botox relaxes facial muscles resulting in a smoothing of the skin and reducing the lines we create when we make facial expressions. Frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles can all be significantly reduced by injecting tiny amounts of Botox with a very fine sterile needle.
